Terms & Conditions 

1. Definitions

​

  • “Conditions”: These terms and conditions.

  • “Contract”: The agreement between you and Jessica Lee Interiors for the purchase of Goods and/or Services.

  • “Goods”: Furniture, lighting, window dressings, fabrics, and related products supplied by us.

  • “Services”: Interior design, measuring, upholstery, and installation.

  • “Order”: A request made by you for Goods and/or Services.

  • “Price”: The total cost of Goods and any associated delivery or service fees.

  • “We/Us/Our”: Jessica Lee Interiors.

  • “You/Your”: The person or entity placing the Order.

2. Our Agreement

​

2.1. These Conditions apply exclusively to all Orders unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

2.2. No verbal statements or representations are valid unless confirmed in writing by us.

3. Placing an Order

​

3.1. Once your Order is placed, we’ll send a written confirmation. You must notify us of any errors within 5 days.

3.2. We may update product specifications without prior notice if required for improvements or compliance, ensuring no significant change in quality or performance.

4. Samples & Fabrics

​

4.1. We strive for accuracy, but recommend requesting fabric samples to check colour and texture.

4.2. Shades may vary between batches. For an exact match, request a stock cutting. We can reserve fabric for 7 days.

4.3. Unsure about the correct side of a fabric sample? Please contact us.

4.4. Large loan samples must be returned within 14 days in good condition. Loss/damage may incur replacement fees.

4.5. We only work with fabrics and materials supplied by us.

4.6. Lining colours are selected by us unless you request a specific colour when placing your Order.

5. Measuring & Fitting

​

5.1. Final measurements must be taken by us. We may adjust designs based on materials and fitting considerations.

5.2. Installation charges are included based on clear access and secure fixings. Notify us of any hidden pipes, wires, or issues.

5.3. If proper fixings can’t be achieved or access is restricted, we may reschedule installation and charge for additional visits.

6. Delivery

​

6.1. Orders typically take four weeks from when we receive your fabric. Peak periods may take longer.

6.2. If your chosen fabric is out of stock (up to 6-month lead time), we’ll inform you promptly.

6.3. Once ready, we’ll contact you to arrange delivery or installation.

7. Quotes & Pricing

​

7.1. We’ll quote for the requested Goods/Services. Extras may incur additional charges.

7.2. If unforeseen work is needed (e.g., due to prior poor workmanship), we’ll notify you of any extra costs.

7.3. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

8. Payment Terms

​

8.1. Payments must be made in GBP via BACS (allow 7 working days for clearance).

8.2. Full payment is due upon placing the Order. Work begins once payment clears.

8.3. For stock items, full payment is required before delivery.

8.4. Outstanding balances are due immediately after completion. Late payments may incur a 10% monthly charge.

8.5. If unpaid, we may retain your deposit, sell Goods held, and deduct costs incurred.

8.6. All Goods remain our property until paid in full.

9. Warranties & Liability

​

9.1. Goods are warranted to match their description and be free from defects on delivery, unless improperly stored or used.

9.2. No other warranties apply unless required by law. We are not responsible for fitness for specific purposes unless confirmed in writing.

9.3. Natural variations may affect appearance, shape, and suitability.

9.4. Minor defects not affecting performance may not justify rejection.

9.5. Faults or missing items must be reported within 7 and 3 days of delivery respectively.

9.6. We are not liable for death or injury caused by our negligence.

9.7. Delays due to uncontrollable events (e.g. strikes, material shortages) are not our responsibility.

9.8. If you were aware of a defect before purchasing, we are not liable.

9.9. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

10. General Terms

​

10.1. Do not replicate our designs without written permission.

10.2. Notices must be emailed to studio@jessicaleeinteriors.com. We’ll use the email provided in your Order unless instructed otherwise.

10.3. If any part of these Conditions is deemed unenforceable, the rest remain valid.

10.4. Our failure to enforce any term does not waive our right to enforce it later.

10.5. A person who is not a party to the Contract has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Conditions but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

10.6. The Contract shall be governed by the laws of England, and the Customer agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
